Owning My Story in Beauty & Business

For years, I’ve poured my energy into building Rosie’s - the salon, the clinics and more recently, education for beauty professionals. I’ve been proud to see our team win awards, grow with loyal clients and become a trusted part of the community. But through it all, one thing has been missing: me.
I’ve always been the one behind the brand - creating, mentoring and building, while keeping my own story in the background. Like many women balancing motherhood, business and life, I lost touch with the “me” that started all of this.
But the truth is, I was the reason it all began. At 20 years old, with a £50 overdraft and a small bag of supplies, I started a mobile beauty business that grew into four salons, an award-winning team and a career I’m deeply grateful for.
This blog marks a new chapter - one where I bring together my experiences in beauty, business, and education and finally share them openly. It’s not just about treatments or trends; it’s about the journey, the lessons learned (the good and the tough) and the real stories behind the brand.
Here, you’ll find:
✨ Honest reflections from 20 years in the industry
✨ Practical tips for beauty professionals who want to grow
✨ Knowledge and inspiration for clients who love skin and brows
✨ A reminder that no matter where you are in life, you can always reinvent yourself
This space is for me, but it’s also for you - my clients, fellow beauty professionals and the community who’ve supported me from day one.
So here it is: The Edit by Rosie. A place to connect, learn, and hopefully feel inspired.
Thank you for being here - I’m so excited for what’s ahead.
